API Operations

The CAMARA Number verification API specifies the following two operations:

  • POST /verify: Verifies whether the phone number associated with the access token matches the one currently being used by the user. (parameter phoneNumber).
  • GET /device-phone-number: Returns the phone number associated with the access token, allowing API clients to perform their own verification.

With the Ooredoo CAMARA Number verification API, any digital service provider can performs real-time checks to verify the phone number of the mobile device being used to access a service provider (SP) service, where the mobile device is accessing the service provider over a mobile network either by getting the comparison result or receiving the phone number of the device that it is used, so they can verify it themselves..

Aggregators and digital partners can seamlessly integrate this functionality into their applications.
